My last testimony appeared in the Sentinel in 1935, at which time I expressed gratitude for the harmonious birth of a baby daughter.

Six years later another baby girl was born to us. This birth also was harmonious. The elder daughter is now grown and married to a young man who was also reared in Christian Science, and they are both happy, active members of a branch Church of Christ, Scientist. And the younger daughter is now eighteen years of age.

Some three years ago I suffered a sprained hipbone, causing almost constant discomfort and pain, because there seemed to be pressure on a nerve. This was accompanied by a great sense of depression. When I read Science and Health by Mrs. Eddy, many times I could not see the pages for the tears. A Christian Science practitioner gave me needed support, pointing out that our Leader says, "The divine Mind that made man maintains His own image and likeness" (ibid., p. 151).
