GOD GOVERNS OUR MEETINGS

Meetings of various kinds occupy much of our time. We meet our friends. We meet our relatives. We meet our school and business associates. We meet strangers, and occasionally we are almost startled to meet ourselves. Of all the meetings that crowd the day, which is of greatest importance?

Our most important meeting is our meeting with God. This meeting should occur the first thing every morning, the last thing each night, and at each moment during the day. If we appreciate the importance of meeting God, we shall not fail to be consciously in attendance at this meeting.

We meet God in silent communion. We meet Him through listening prayerfully for divine guidance. We meet Him as we seek to know Him better. One way in which we can know God better is through systematic daily study of the Bible and of the writings of our Leader, Mary Baker Eddy, especially the Christian Science textbook, "Science and Health with Key to the Scriptures."
