RADIO PROGRAM No. 336 - A Child Healed of Hernia

Speaker: Just what can parents do when a small child has a serious physical difficulty? Can they confidently rely for healing on spiritual means alone? That question is going to be answered today by Mrs. Ella Manes, of Lakewood, Ohio. She and her husband can speak from experience.

Please tell us about it, Mrs. Manes.

Mrs. Manes: Well, our son Lee was born with a hernia. It was an extreme condition. But both my husband and I were Christian Scientists. We'd had a number of healings ourselves and in our home; so we felt confident this problem could be worked out too. It seemed necessary to have a truss made to put on the baby until the healing came, but we were relying wholly on spiritual means to bring the healing.
