Pupils Need the Teacher's Tender Care

A young man recently asked the question, "Are the Sunday School teachers aware of the important place the Christian Science Sunday School has in the life of the child from the non-Science home?" Then he told of his own experience.

He had enrolled in the Sunday School at an early age and had been much interested in the class discussions from the very first Sunday. Because his parents were not Christian Scientists, he had had no one at home with whom to talk about the Sunday School teachings. Therefore he looked forward with eagerness to every Sunday, for then he could hear more of the love of God for all His children. "Attending the Sunday School," he added, "became the high light of my week!" And Sunday School has continued to be important to him. He is now teaching a class in his own branch church.

Another report was received from a former Sunday School pupil in England who said that owing to an illness he had been away from school frequently. When he was eight years old, his parents learned of Christian Science through an acquaintance. They placed him in the Sunday School because they thought it would help him, and for about six years it was his only contact with Christian Science.
