In gratitude for all the good that has come to me through the study of Christian Science and for the help I have received from the testimonies in the Christian Science periodicals, I offer this testimony. It is my hope that someone may be encouraged by it as I have been by other testimonies.

I should like to tell of a healing I had several years ago. I was taken ill with what I believe would have been diagnosed as double pneumonia. A Christian Science practitioner was called and lovingly took up prayerful work for me. I was asked to read Hymn No. 139 from the Christian Science Hymnal, the first lines of which read,
