"THE DEAR CHRIST ENTERS IN"
Like the sun pouring forth its light on a dark cloud, the Christ, Truth, God's infinite idea, is ever shedding its penetrating rays on the darkened mortal consciousness. Wherever there is the smallest opening in the human thought, the Christ, Truth, will enter and change our lives from darkness to light, from sickness to health, from sin to purity.
The Christ-idea is never for one moment absent. It is never inadequate. It is teeming with love and immeasurable in content. The entrance of the Christ, Truth, into our lives is evidenced whenever patience replaces impatience, the soft tone of kindness replaces curtness, or loving helpfulness replaces cold disdain. Through Christ, forgiveness appears in the place of harsh judgment, courtesy in the place of thoughtlessness, or successful activity in the place of fruitless toil.
Included in the illustrated poem "Christ and Christmas" by Mary Baker Eddy, and very dear to the hearts of earnest students of Christian Science, is this rich promise (p. 27):
