COMPANIONSHIP

[Of Special Interest to Young People]

The subjects of human relationship, companionship, love, and marriage merit thoughtful consideration, and the young Christian Scientist has the happy privilege of seeking answers to his queries on these subjects in the Bible and in the writings of Mary Baker Eddy. There is no question that cannot be answered through the study of these textbooks, combined with spiritual inspiration and enlightenment.

Christian Science does not make impossible demands on its adherents, does not require that they should live without human love and companionship or anything else that helps to make a full and happy life.

It is natural for young people, feeling their lack of experience, to desire guidance. Christ Jesus is the Way-shower. Through his deep, spiritual understanding of his sonship with God, he recognized that all right ideas are forever available as the expression of infinite Mind, God, and he was able to demonstrate that these ideas would provide everything needful to his human life. His understanding of man's unity with God enabled him to perceive the completeness of man as God's reflection.
