For much of my life I had sought...
For much of my life I had sought happiness in material conditions and circumstances. When I left my job and was married, I looked to my husband for everything. In my eyes he was the source of my supply and happiness.
Through ignorance of God and of my relationship to Him as His reflection, I felt entirely separate from Him. However, through a friend. I had been introduced to Christian Science before I was married and had on occasions attended the services in a branch Church of Christ, Scientist, and had even purchased a copy of the textbook, Science and Health by Mary Baker Eddy.
The good seed had been planted and was growing, even though I did not realize it. The day came when I knew I needed Christian Science to heal me of a nervous condition. Also, I had just had an operation to remove a lump in my breast.
