My testimony was printed in the Sentinel of May 21, 1938. The continuous study of Christian Science has abundantly blessed me and my family since that time, and we have enjoyed the fruitage of the Bible promise (Isa. 9:7), "Of the increase of his government and peace there shall be no end."

A severe testing time occurred in my experience when my son did not return from active service in the Second World War. I was grief-stricken for some years. However, I knew that our membership in The Mother Church had been a bond uniting us, and I also knew that because Life is eternal, we were in reality still together in active service to our Maker.

As I gained an understanding of true motherhood, as I realized that God is our only Father-Mother, and recognized the love of The Mother Church, I made the journey to Boston. While attending a service there, I was healed of grief.
