Christian Science came to my attention in 1941, and I have relied solely upon it since that time. Through its study I have been lifted from the morass of fear and frustration into the pure atmosphere of God-governed thought.

For many years I suffered from recurring nervous breakdowns, which incapacitated me and caused much grief to my loved ones. When all the ministrations of medical science failed to help me, I turned to God and prayed for deliverance.

My need was met by an invitation to attend a Christian Science lecture to which I went with great expectations. After the lecture I lost no time in visiting a Reading Room, where I borrowed the textbook, Science and Health by Mary Baker Eddy. I experienced my first healing as a result of reading this book. I was freed from the need for wearing glasses, which I had worn since childhood.
