MAN'S ABODE
One day across the desk of a Christian Science practitioner sat a young student who was just beginning the study of this religion, The practitioner was explaining some basic truths of man's real selfhood.
The visitor, endeavoring to grasp these truths which were new and radical to him, said, "Do you mean that first man begins as spiritual and at the time of birth drops into the human experience, and then after passing on he returns to the spiritual plane?"
Clearly and vehemently the practitioner answered in the negative. Then he pointed out that nothing could be farther from the truth, for man never leaves spiritual perfection.
