DEMONSTRATING OUR TRUE WORTH

In the kingdom of God there are no gradations or priorities. All of God's sons are equally blessed by His love, His tender care, just as the sun bestows its warmth without discrimination. This is a basic truth which Christian Science urges upon all who wish to advance in their human experience.

In the business and professional world those who prove their qualifications tend naturally to be advanced into more responsible types of activity. But when ultimate perfection is demonstrated, there shall be found the divine sense of equality, which exists even now for all in reality.

Perhaps Christ Jesus was striving to reveal the divine sense of equality when he gave the parable of the laborers in the vineyard (see Matt. 20). All, whether hired at the first hour or the eleventh, were paid a penny.
