Leeds, Yorkshire, England (Third Church).

Third Church of Christ, Scientist, Leeds, which was built in 1928, is to be dedicated tomorrow. Services of dedication will be held at 11 a.m., 3 p.m., and 6.30 p.m.

As Christian Science Society, Leeds, services were held in 1922 in Spencer Hall, Frankland Place. It was soon obvious that more extensive accommodation would be necessary, and a plot of land in Easterly Road was bought in 1925.

The new premises were completed in November, 1928. The accommodation, however, did not meet the needs of the Sunday-School, which was temporarily housed in the adjacent Clock Buildings. ... Although the debt on the church building was cleared, it was felt desirable to defer dedication until permanent Sunday School accommodation was completed. Building was started in 1955, as soon as wartime restrictions were lifted, and the new Sunday School was opened in May, 1956.
