AGELESSNESS

God's gracious image, man, is always whole.
Existing ever, unrestricted, free,
He mirrors the immortal charms of Soul,
Unchanging and unchanged eternally.
No circumstance can leave a harried stamp
Upon the countenance of God's fair child,
Nor can despair or sorrow dim the lamp
Of Life, whose purity is undefiled.
There is no being save in God alone:
His glory is unlimited and bright,
And it will shine as it has gladly shone
Beyond illusiveness of age and night.
The past and future both belong to Love,
For by its circling power we live and move.
