THE DIVINE AND ONLY REMEDY

MANKIND are earnestly and constantly searching for more effective remedies. Some are searching for health remedies; others are searching for remedies to assuage grief or for ways to be led out of poverty, unhappiness, and world turmoil; while still others are seeking release from sinful and enslaving habits.

The search is often for remedies that will bring freedom from the limitations which are concomitants of a material sense of existence. As long as the search is limited to the material realm, these remedies will at the most furnish only temporary relief.

In "Science and Health with Key to the Scriptures," Mary Baker Eddy writes (pp. 142, 143),"Truth is God's remedy for error of every kind, and Truth destroys only what is untrue." For nearly a century great numbers of people have successfully used this remedy as revealed by Christian Science to solve their many problems. They are finding as our Master, Christ Jesus, found more than nineteen hundred years ago that Truth is the only real and permanent remedy and that there is no error that will not yield to its power.
