I have had many healings in Christian Science for which I am very grateful. These have been healings of business problems, diseases of long standing, false appetites, grief, and other conditions.

At one time I was working from twelve to fifteen hours a day, six days a week. This continued for three years. Finally I reached the point of complete exhaustion. Barely reaching home one night, I fell across the bed too weak to remove my clothing.

Christian Science was rather new to me at the time, but I always had at my bedside the Bible and the textbook, science and Health by Mrs. Eddy. Picking up the latter and opening it at random, I saw these four words (p. 519): "God rests in action." The book fell from my hand, and that was all that I remembered. I awoke the next morning feeling refreshed, but I was not entirely healed.

That same day I called a Christian Science practitioner and asked for help in solving this problem. The practitioner told me to look up and study with the aid of Concordances to our Leader's writings all of the words relating to time, day, and year. Through the study of these citations, I gleaned the spiritual truths I needed to establish harmony.

The complete healing took several months, but I have never suffered from fatigue again in the eleven years since. During this time I was also healed of the smoking habit and of drinking coffee.

I am especially grateful for the spiritual growth which led to membership in The Mother Church and in a branch church, and for class instruction. It is impossible to express enough gratitude for our beloved Leader, Mrs. Eddy, who was divinely led to establish these and the many other provisions which are so vital to our growth.

For the glorious privilege of serving a three-year term as First Reader in a branch church, I humbly say, "Thank You, God."

I am grateful to our practitioners who are ever ready to help the weary pilgrim on his way Spiritward. I am truly grateful to God, to Christ Jesus, the Way-shower, and to Mrs. Eddy, for the revelation of Christian Science. — George John Ziebell, Oakland, California.
