More than fifty years ago I became interested in Christian Science through two sisters who had experienced healings. Since then, I have had many healings, and I should like to give special thanks for the following.

About nine years ago I was staying with a relative, and I had trouble with my eyes, I had worn glasses for reading for many years, but I visited an oculist for a further examination. I was given bifocal spectacles and told to wear them fairly constantly.

A few days after that, I left my glasses in a cinema. I went back immediately to fetch them, but they were not found. I was much upset because the glasses were very expensive ones. Then I thought maybe this was my opportunity to overcome the need of them. i began to study all that Mary Baker Eddy says in her writings about eyes and sight.
