It is with sincere gratitude to God, the only lawmaker, that I submit my testimony of the healing of a discordant human relationship which was about to culminate in a divorce. At a time when I was having insurmountable difficulties, I prayed to God to show me the right religion to meet my needs.

Having been brought up in an orthodox church, I had always paid very close attention to the words of our dear Master. I knew there must be a way to apply these truths, for Jesus said (Matt. 7:7), "Ask, and it shall be given you; seek, and ye shall find; knock, and it shall be opened unto you."

Within a week I received in the mail a copy of the Sentinel, and to this day I do not know who sent it. I had never heard of Christian Science before, but I did know that my prayer was answered. Without further questioning, I began the study of Christian Science. It has enabled me to apply the truths that Jesus gave us and to treat every suggestion of a power opposed to God as an opportunity to prove God's allness.
