OUR DAILY ALLOWANCE

The old Testament tells us that when Jehoiachin, king of Judah, was released from prison by the king of Babylon, his captor "spake kindly to him, ... and changed his prison garments. ... And his allowance was a continual allowance given him of the king, a daily rate for every day, all the days of his life" (II Kings 25:28-30).

We too find that when we are released through the realization of God's allness, as revealed in Christian Science, from the bondage of belief in matter's reality, we have a daily and continual allowance of all we need: good health, supply, companionship, joy, and right activity.

We can expect daily supply, for we know that God is the source of man's supply; and God does not change. There can be no recession of His intelligence and activity. Since man is the expression of God, then man cannot experience any lessening or stoppage in his reflection of divine intelligence and activity.
