I am very grateful for the fact that Christian Science has come into my life and for the many things this Science has done for us. As a young girl I always longed to help sick and poor people in the same manner as Jesus did.

When I became a schoolteacher, the master of the school, now my husband, gave me some Christian Science literature. After reading a few lines, I knew that this was what I had always sought and longed for and that it was now possible indeed that the sick could be healed in a Christianly scientific way.

Our application of the rules given by Mrs. Eddy, the Discoverer and Founder of Christian Science, in her book "Science and Health with Key to the Scriptures" has destroyed error and restored harmony many times. One evening when my husband and I were cycling, a man suddenly ran against my bicycle. I fell, and as a result my left shoulder was dislocated. I had much pain and could not move my arm.
