My humble thanks to Christian Science is unbounded. I have been helped so many times by reading the testimonies in our periodicals that I want to express my gratitude to help others. From an early age I had the privilege of attending the Christian Science Sunday School, which gave me a deep sense of God's great goodness and love.

One day, on the way home from grade school, a number of children jumped on me unexpectedly, the biggest of whom proceeded to pound me with heavy blows. I clung to the angel message that God is Love. The blows stopped as suddenly as they had started, and I walked away without being the least disturbed. Several days later each child came to apologize for his actions.

This demonstration served as a finger post to me as I grew up, for it taught me that the understanding of God that Christian Science unfolds makes Him ever available in time of trouble; also it reveals Him as ever present to guide us in the right direction.
