Everlasting arms of Love Are beneath, around, above.

My heart is full of gratitude for...

My heart is full of gratitude for these words from Hyms No. 53 in the Christian Science Hymnal, for they were a source of great inspiration to me in demonstrating the truth of Christian Science during the birth of our second son. Through the consecrated work of a Christian Science practitioner, the birth took place quickly and was harmonious in every detail.

Another proof of God's constant care and protection for His children was manifested when our oldest child was healed in a few hours after a ten-foot fall onto a concrete floor. I immediately affirmed God's presence to him, although he was but semiconscious. My heart was heavy because of the false sense of responsibility I felt; but I knew that God is All-in-all and that I must do with the child what Jesus told the relatives and friends of Lazarus to do (John 11: 44): "Loose him, and let him go."
