In reviewing the countless blessings that have been mine, I wish to acknowledge with gratitude the protective power which is gained through the daily study of the Bible Lessons given in the Christian Science Quarterly. Early morning prayerful contemplation of God and man as His image prepares one to rise superior to the pain and pleasure of the senses and to maintain peace and poise.

While I have never experienced a major physical healing, many disorders, among which are chronic sore throat, influenza, colds, a sprained ankle, an infected finger, and a skin infection, have been overcome.
