I should like to share the joy...

I should like to share the joy which has come to me simply by using a key that unlocks the treasure of our true being. This key is Science and Health by Mrs. Eddy and is available to all who seek Truth, which is ever present and really the only power there is. To have tapped this power for practical use and to have learned to live aright is the perfect joy I have found just by studying the most wonderful discovery ever made—Christian Science.

Mrs. Eddy writes in Science and Health (p. 412): "Mentally insist that harmony is the fact, and that sickness is a temporal dream. Realize the presence of Health and the fact of harmonious being, until the body corresponds with the normal conditions of health and harmony. If the case is that of a young child or an infant, it needs to be met mainly through the parent's thought, silently or audibly on the aforesaid basis of Christian Science." What a glorious revelation this has been to our home !

We are grateful for the healing of our child, who was suffering from a discordant physical condition which affected his breathing. Through the prayerful work of a Christian Science practitioner, we were brought to realize that Love is God and that God is All, and that man is God's perfect child. Within a few hours the difficulty with his breathing cleared, and the child was healed.

Another helpful proof of the presence of the one Mind, which governs the safety of our being, was experienced while my wife and I were shopping in a busy department store. In the midst of the hustle and bustle, our five-year-old child strayed out of the store and was missing for quite a long while. We held to the truth that there is one Mind, that divine Love cares for all, and that there can be no separation in Mind. I telephoned a practitioner to work prayerfully for us.

The child had strayed to the rapid transit transportation station and was watching the trains. A man had noticed him and realizing that he was lost had brought him to the station attendant, who placed him in care of the police department. Within thirty-five minutes after I had telephoned to the practitioner, our child was delivered to us safely.

Working together in Christian Science has resulted in helpful guidance in our daily experiences. I can name many other blessings, such as the overcoming of the smoking habit, the healing of a wound on the eye, and the victory over a bad temper.

I cannot adequately express my gratitude for class instruction, for through this channel I began to realize that Love is infinite.

Honesty is the steppingstone to sincerity and sincerity to humility; and true humility brings the realization of the consciousness of Spirit, God, as All-in-all. I am grateful for Christian Science.— Martin G. Woljan, Cranston, Rhode Island.
