RADIO PROGRAM No. 322 - Hold Your Ground

Speaker: Our guest today proved that we can successfully challenge fear and disease. Although the outlook seemed dark for him, he found that things were not hopeless. As he gained a better understanding of the nature of God and his own true relationship to God, he was able to face and master both fear and disease. Franklin Kelly, of Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, is going to tell you his own experience.

I believe this occurred some years ago, didn't it, Mr. Kelly?

Mr. Kelly: Yes, I was a young man at the time. I got into a rundown condition; I was very weak. I had a hemorrhage, and the doctor diagnosed the trouble as tuberculosis. I had a lot of fear of this disease, because my oldest brother had died with it. My wife was interested in Christian Science, and so were her parents. I went to church with her occasionally, but not regularly. So when she suggested I turn to Christian Science, I said all right I would; I was willing to try anything at this point.
