I had known of Christian Science for many years but did not begin an earnest study of it until after the birth of our children. Then I felt the need of guidance and protection for our family. Whenever this blessed truth has been applied and thought has been aligned with Principle, every need has been met.

Our beloved Leader, Mary Baker Eddy, has written (Science and Health, p. 369), "The prophylactic and therapeutic (that is, the preventive and curative) arts belong emphatically to Christian Science, as would be readily seen, if psychology, or the Science of Spirit, God, was understood." This statement has been proved in our experience. Many so-called crises have been prevented or overcome through the realization of the ever-protecting and guiding love of God.

A severe case of quinsy was healed quickly and permanently through the loving help of a practitioner. There was no period of recuperation after the healing. When I realized perfection, the manifestation of health was instantaneous.
