It is with a very grateful heart that I give this testimony. Christian Science has been my sole guide for many years, and I have repeatedly proved the truth of the opening sentence in the Preface to the Christian Science textbook, Science and Health by Mary Baker Eddy (p. vii), "To those leaning on the sustaining infinite, to-day is big with blessings." I certainly have had many blessings, healings, and a great sense of protection through my study of the textbook.

One of my first healings was that of a hard lump on my head. I had the prayerful help of a Christian Science practitioner, and one night the lump dissolved. A polypus in the nose was quickly overcome. I have also had healings of influenza, a sprained ankle, and frequent headaches. During the years of a long business life, the time I have taken off for sickness has amounted only to a day or two, and for this I am grateful.

Christian Science has been of immeasurable help to me in business when I have rightly applied its teachings to the solving of the problems which have presented themselves. Particularly was this so during the restrictions imposed at the time of the Second World War when I was managing a factory in the Midlands.
