I wish to express gratitude for the healing of grief at the time of the passing on of a loved one. My two children, loving and kind, were willing to do anything for my comfort and did not try to outline for me.

The By-Law entitled "Daily Prayer," given by our Leader, Mary Baker Eddy, in the Manual of The Mother Church, states (Art. VIII, Sect. 4), "It shall be the duty of every member of this Church to pray each day: 'Thy kingdom come;' let the reign of divine Truth, Life, and Love be established in me, and rule out of me all sin; and may Thy Word enrich the affections of all mankind, and govern them!"

This prayer proved very helpful, because it directs us to pray daily that God will govern us. However, I felt so full of self-pity that I just did not know how to pray aright.
