When our first daughter was...

When our first daughter was about five weeks old, she became very ill, and the doctor rushed her off to a children's hospital and placed her in the hands of a child specialist. The complaint was spasms of the stomach, and the specialist said we might be able to take her home in about three months' time. At this stage my mother-in-law recommended that we obtain Christian Science help. We agreed, since we were willing to try anything, although all I had ever heard about Christian Science was adverse criticism.

My wife and I procured the Bible and the textbook, "Science and Health with Key to the Scriptures" by Mary Baker Eddy. With the help of a practitioner, a remarkable change took place, and soon our little girl was taken home and was quickly healed.
