Christian Science has proved to me that it is the way of Life, the pathway to the full realization of God's ever-presence.

Although I was reared in the Christian Science Sunday School, it was not until I left home to pursue a career that I had the opportunity really to apply the truths of Christian Science which had earlier been planted in my consciousness. A great feeling of despair, lack, and depression had overtaken me, and this had happened, I knew, because I had failed to "stand porter at the door of thought" (Science and Health, p. 392).

I visited a Christian Science practitioner, who pointed out to me that home is a harmonious spiritual state of consciousness and that I was in reality the perfect reflection of God. After that, I eagerly looked forward to visiting a Christian Science Reading Room every day to learn and understand more of God, who could give only that which is good to His children.
