More than twenty-seven years...

More than twenty-seven years have elapsed since I was led to Christian Science. During this time, reading the testimonies in The Herald of Christian Science (German Edition) has given me much comfort and joy.

I have experienced many healings through this Science. When I was still a beginner in it, I had a bad fall in the street. Only with great difficulty could I get up. I felt severe pains in my body and great dizziness in my head. I was urged to seek medical aid, but this I definitely refused to do. With the help of a practitioner, in a short time I was free from the effects of the fall.

At another time I was standing in the snow taking leave of friends. As I was about to turn to go back into the house, there was such a loud snap in my right foot, which was held fast in the snow, that the people standing close by heard it quite distinctly.
