It is with sincere gratitude to God that I submit this testimony of healing, knowing that it will help others.
I had worn glasses since high school days. During the few years I had been studying Christian Science, my eyes had improved somewhat, although no specific work had been done. Not wanting to accept the mortal mind claim that as years advance, the eyes become weaker, I called upon a Christian Science practitioner who supported me in my efforts to gain improved vision.
While studying I read in Science and Health by Mrs. Eddy (p. 489), "How can man, reflecting God, be dependent on material means for knowing, hearing, seeing?" This thought was just like a light to me. I laid aside my glasses and began a faithful study of what Mrs. Eddy has to say about eyes, vision, and perception.
