ARE WE DOING OUR PART?
The world today needs spiritual thinkers and workers. It needs the beneficent influence of the Christ, manifested by those who are laboring for the salvation of mankind through the understanding and demonstration of the truths of Christian Science.
After his resurrection, Christ Jesus commanded his disciples (Mark 16:15), "Go ye into all the world, and preach the gospel to every creature." Here is a mission designated for all mankind, not merely for a limited group. And Jesus indicated that those listeners who were receptive to the Christian teachings would be blessed.
This call comes to every Christian Scientist today not to sit in his home, his office, his church, and wait for the receptive thought to come to him for enlightenment. He is to reach out in daily prayer and practice to all mankind and let his works testify to the truth which he knows and uses.
