It has been said, "Man's extremity is God's opportunity." It was in an hour of great extremity that Christian Science came to me, and I should like to share my healing through the periodicals.

At an early age I was thrown upon my own resources and very soon fell into company of a very bad sort. This bad influence led me into all kinds of wrong thinking and living, and I was soon sent to a reform school. When I was released, I stumbled around aimlessly, still traveling in wrong company, and took to smoking marijuana cigarettes.

Later, I became addicted to other drugs also, including Heroin and morphine. For eleven years I struggled through all the tortures of the drug habit. At one time I was committed to a public health institution for the drug cure. When I left the hospital, I was pronounced cured by the physicians, but after a brief time, I w as tempted again and went back to narcotics.
