MELT THE MISTS!

William Blake , one of the great English poets, wrote: "If the doors of perception were cleansed, every thing would appear to man as it is, infinite. For man has closed himself up, till he sees all things thro' narrow chinks of his cavern."

By her discovery of Christian Science, Mary Baker Eddy has awakened mankind to the eternal truth that all reality is infinite, hence good. Great thinkers down through the ages have had glimpses of this fact.

Our beloved Leader shows us how spiritual reality can be discerned in our daily lives. She writes (Science and Health with Key to the Scriptures, p. 205), "Befogged in error (the error of believing that matter can be intelligent for good or evil), we can catch clear glimpses of God only as the mists disperse, or as they melt into such thinness that we perceive the divine image in some word or deed which indicates the true idea,—the supremacy and reality of good, the nothingness and unreality of evil."
