I should like to express my appreciation for the good which Christian Science has brought into my life and for the many channels through which its teachings are available. To me, the most immediately meaningful of these channels have been membership in The Mother Church and a branch church, the Christian Science periodicals, lectures, class instruction, and the privilege of first attending the Sunday School and later teaching in it.

Many of the healings I have experienced have been direct results of applying truths which I first learned in the Sunday School. In serving in it as a teacher the past few years, I have often been healed of a physical problem or roused from mental depression by the Christianly scientific thoughts expressed by the children in my class.

As a child I experienced the healing of many so-called childhood diseases through the prayerful work of my parents or through that of a Christian Science practitioner. Since I have grown up, I have experienced the healing in about three days' time of a very painful case of what appeared to be hemorrhoids and the healing of the effects of an accident, in which the steel runners of a sled laden with passengers and luggage ran over my foot and leg.
