THE REAL AND THE COUNTERFEIT

The writer once asked a bank teller how to distinguish a counterfeit bill from a good one. This had followed a discussion in a Christian Science Sunday School class where, to illustrate a point, the question of how one was to know real money from counterfeit money had been asked. The teller stated that he recognized the counterfeit money by the feel of it. When asked how it felt, he said that this was hard to explain.

The writer then asked, "Can't you tell by the printing?"

The teller answered, "Yes, but there are so many details that it would take a long time to explain."
