I give this testimony to express my gratitude to God for Christ Jesus' teaching and example and for Mrs. Eddy's wonderful revelation of the truth. This truth has helped me beyond measure to meet problems, large and small, to prove God's law of health, and to "train up a child in the way he should go" (Prov. 22:6).

I am especially grateful for a higher sense of what it means to let God's will be done. When we understand how to put God first, we can prove that as His beloved children we are cared for every minute. We have only to bring our thinking into line with the ever-present consciousness of Love, and when we succeed in doing so, inharmony melts away. We then realize that actually only good is present all the time.

One of our children had a fall from a tree. Because the condition appeared grave and my fear was great, I telephoned a Christian Science practitioner, who prayerfully worked for the child and told me that all of us were to fill our thoughts with joy. While I was studying references from Mrs. Eddy's works, including her hymns, my fear was cast out. In two days the child was perfectly well, climbing the same tree, and able to go back to school.
