RADIO PROGRAM No. 274 - Depending on Divine Law Brings Protection

Speaker: The divine law of harmony and protection already exists. It's already in force everywhere. We need never fear that we're beyond its all-powerful action. As we gain an understanding of God and His law, we can know the protecting power of divine guidance. The experience of our guest today illustrates this. Captain John Llewellyn, of Vancouver, British Columbia, has had a long career with the Merchant Marine. Now he's an examiner for Masters and Mates in the Canadian Department of Transport.

Just where did this experience take place, Captain Llewellyn?

Captain Llewellyn: It was in the Aleutian Islands. We were crossing the North Pacific. It was during the winter of 1947. I was in command of a large freighter bound for Vancouver. We'd had gales and more gales, almost continuously. They'd driven us way off course, and we'd used up most of our fuel. We'd passed the point of no return, but we were still a long way from our destination. I radioed the ship's owners, and they ordered me to Dutch Harbor in the Aleutians, if I could make it.
