For many years I have felt a desire to express in a testimony my deep gratitude that I had Christian Science treatment at the birth of our first child. And now I am happy to add my gratitude for the subsequent harmonious births, under Christian Science treatment, of our last two children.

The first demonstration was difficult for me. I was fairly new in the study of this Science, and I was very fearful when problems arose. The obstetrician was excellent, supposedly in harmony with the views of a Scientist, yet he had a great feeling of personal responsibility for each patient.

Thanks to the constant and loving affirmations of Truth made by a Christian Science practitioner at the time and to my own study, the doctor's fears were lessened.
