A RIGHT SENSE OF PLACE

Sometimes because of a need for adjustment in human relationships one may be tempted to believe that desired peace is only to be found in a change of the place in which he resides or works. Such a change may be highly desireable, especially if there is anything morally offensive in his present situation. However, the change which Christian Science inspires, regardless of whether one finds a different place or stays where he is, is a change of thought.

Each one has it within his power to think correctly, to recognize the spiritual facts of being: the truths of God and man. With this truth he can transform an offensive relationship into an increasingly harmonious one.

To the Christian Scientist, a right sense of place means one principal thing, namely an understanding of his identity as the child of God. This divinely created and maintained identity is in its right place because man is always within the realm of God's love, protection, and wisdom. In truth, there is no other place to be.
