In the Bible it is stated (Matt. 6:33), "Seek ye first the kingdom of God, and his righteousness; and all these things shall be added unto you."

I was seeking God when I was introduced to Christian Science. I had doubted the existence of God for some years prior to that time, as the doctrine to which I had subscribed did not satisfy my religious curiosity. At that time I had sight in only one of my eyes, the other eye having gone suddenly blind one summer several years previously.

After I had attended a Christian Science church for some months, I had occasion to apply for additional life insurance and had the usual medical examination. Later, the examining doctor brought the policy to my home and informed me of their acceptance of my application and of my normal vision. I asked him to repeat this about the eyes as it was the first I knew of the healing of my vision. I have felt and expressed much gratitude for this healing ever since.
