"The Lord is my light and my...

"The Lord is my light and my salvation; whom shall I fear? the Lord is the strength of my life; of whom shall I be afraid?" This Bible verse from Psalms (27:1), which appeared in an article in a Sentinel, as well as the article itself, started me on the road to recovery from a blood clot in my leg which occurred after the birth of my third child.

I studied this Scriptural passage and applied it to my case. I also had the help of a Christian Science practitioner, and I was healed. It was not a quick healing, but as I saw the nothingness of fear and realized that God was my strength and life, I was enabled to see the nothingness of the material evidence. This was over forty years ago. I have never had a return of the trouble.

A few years ago I awoke at about four thirty in the morning with what might have been called sciatica. At the time I was visiting my daughter, and since I was in great pain, she telephoned to a practitioner, who lived in a city about eighty miles away, asking him to do prayerful work for me.
