I took up the study of Christian Science as a result of my husband's healing of an ungovernable temper. Having been reared a churchgoing child, I was ready for this Science, although is deeper meaning dawned gradually. Our two children were very young when they were enrolled in the Sunday School, and they have both learned to demonstrate Christian Science.

I am grateful for an instantaneous healing which my son had of measles, and I should also like to tell of the healing of my little daughter. She came home from school one day feeling quite ill. I feared that diphtheria might develop. We got our textbooks, the Bible and Science and Health by Mrs. Eddy, and read and studied faithfully.

When the problem did not yield, I asked for the help of a Christian Science practitioner. She came to the house and prayerfully worked for the child. After she had left us, the child asked for food and ate heartily. It was the first she had been able to eat in two days. I knew that her healing had taken place and thanked God. I at once called the practitioner and told her the child had completely recovered. There has never been a return of the difficulty.
