Until I found Christian Science, I spent years of searching and groping in the dark for Truth. While I was still in my teens an urge within me to find the answers to many questions led me to study at least half a dozen religions, but none offered me the logical, spiritual enlightenment I needed in order to embrace it wholeheartedly. Then one day years ago a friend led me to Christian Science, and now I do not know how I ever lived without it.

I have had many wonderful demonstrations of God's goodness and love. But the greatest blessing, which I received through the help of a practitioner, was the complete removal of all sorrow, loneliness, and sense of loss at the sudden passing of my husband, with whom I had shared many years of warm companionship and congenial home life.

When I felt it was wise to sell my house, it was sold the second day it was placed on the market and at the price I had asked for it. But in order to vacate the premises, I had to sell my large herd of chinchillas, which I had raised. The market for them in this country had collapsed, and at this time one could hardly give them away. But I held steadfastly to the truth that there is an equality of demand and supply in the divine economy. Within a few days after the sale of the house, I received a wire from abroad, ordering the exact number of animals I had.
