"THERE SHOULD BE TIME NO LONGER"

In the Apocalypse (Rev. 10:6), John described the vision of the mighty angel from heaven who "sware by him that liveth for ever and ever, who created heaven, and the things that therein are, and the earth, and the things that therein are, and the sea, and the things which are therein, that there should be time no longer."

From the mount of revelation, John made the positive declaration that in the spiritual universe there is no time. The good which God bestows on all is never limited in time, space, or place. Likewise, time does not change or affect any of the qualities of God, Love, Truth, and Life. These qualities remain constant and exist for eternity.

Mary Baker Eddy writes in "Science and Health with Key to the Scriptures" (p. 468), "Eternity, not time, expresses the thought of of Life, and time is no part of eternity." It is evident, from this statement, that she saw the nothingness of the so-called material concept of time. It is equally important for all students of Christian Science to rise above the limiting sense of time into the recognition of the endless, timeless, eternal realization of Life.
