As a child I had always had faith and prayed to God, but I felt that my prayers went unanswered. Now I realize that they have been answered by bringing me, through the Christian Science textbook, Science and Health by Mrs. Eddy, a better understanding of God.

This textbook has taught me that the unknown God, whom I ignorantly worshiped, to paraphrase Paul's words (see Acts 17:23), is indeed "a very present help in trouble," as the Psalmist says (Ps. 46:1).I am grateful to God for revealing to Mrs. Eddy, through her purity and spirituality, the Science of Christianity so that all humanity may benefit from it.
