Many benefits have come into my experience since I became an earnest student of the teachings of Christian Science.

Before that time an injury to my right hand was given surgical care, and thereafter the index finger was crooked. I was limited in playing music, in sewing, and in typing. Twenty-five years after this accident I moved to another state, and in adjusting myself to new surroundings and a new position, I felt the need of help from a Christian Science practitioner. When I asked for this help, the finger was not discussed. I simply asked for prayerful work to help in the adjusting of my affairs.

This work was asked for early one Saturday morning, and the practitioner lovingly referred me to the Christian Science pamphlet "God's Law of Adjustment." That evening I was putting my house in order after dinner guests had left. While I was pressing the tile drain-board with a damp cloth rather forcefully my index finger popped back into place.
