RADIO PROGRAM No. 206 - Hay Fever and Asthma Healed

Speaker: Thousands are gaining increased freedom these days through learning to rely on prayer alone to solve their problems. Our guest today, Mrs. Marie C. Cheney of Evanston, Illinois, obtained permanent freedom from hay fever and asthma through an understanding of God's power and His care for man. She's going to tell you about it herself. When did you become interested in Christian Science, Mrs. Cheney?

Mrs. Cheney: I was in my early teens. Until I was about twelve or thirteen, practically no attention had been given to religion in our home. All this was changed after we became interested in Christian Science, for we saw how helpful and practical spiritual truths can be. We had proof of this, because my father was healed of an advanced case of appendicitis when he turned to Christian Science.

Some time after this I began to spend much of my spare time reading the Christian Science textbook, "Science and Health with Key to the Scriptures" by Mary Baker Eddy, the Discoverer and Founder of Christian Science. I shall never forget the wonderful sense of freedom and dominion I often felt as I read.
