I want to express my deep gratitude for Christian Science and for the blessings bestowed on me through my study and growing understanding of it. When this Science was introduced to me, I was suffering from arthritis so severe that I used crutches. In addition, I had had the unhappy experience of a broken marriage. The crutches were cast aside on my first visit to a Christian Science practitioner.

However, there were many faults of character that needed to be overcome. They included self-centeredness, fear, and self-pity. I went through a period of mental darkness and fear, but error was destroyed in my thinking, and I gained my freedom. I want to express my sincere gratitude for the help of practitioners during that period.

There have been many other healings since that time, some instantaneous and others which came through gaining more understanding. Colds and headaches have been overcome, and I have had protection from accidents. For these proofs of God's care, I am grateful beyond words.
